Product Uses
1. Renin: It is secreted by the kidneys. When its value increases, secondary hypertension related to renal artery stenosis, reninoma, etc. can be considered.
2. Angiotensin II: It is indirectly converted from angiotensinogen synthesized by the liver or tissue. The increase in this indicator may be related to renal artery stenosis, renin, etc.
3. Aldosterone: secreted by the zona glomerulosa of the adrenal gland. If the examination reveals elevated aldosterone, primary aldosteronism needs to be considered and can be differentiated from essential hypertension.
4. Adrenocorticotropic hormone: secreted by the adenohypophysis. Elevations in this hormone may be caused by conditions such as primary adrenal insufficiency and Cushing's syndrome.
5. Cortisol: It is secreted by the zona fasciculata of the adrenal glands. Elevation of this indicator should consider Cushing's syndrome

[Applicable instruments]

[Sample requirements]
The sample type used is whole blood, other sample types may not get
accurate results, it is recommended to use whole blood for
testing.Collect samples using standard procedures.
Sample volume cannot be less than 200μL.
Store at 2-8℃: 24 hours, for longer storage periods: freeze to below -
20℃
Avoid repeated freezing and thawing cycles, stored samples should be
thoroughly mixed prior to use (Vortex mixer).

conditions: room temperature (15~30°C); Relative humidity≤ 80%.
