The t-PAIC (Tissue-type Plasminogen Activator-inhibitor Complex ) Assay Kit is an in vitro diagnostic reagent intended for the quantitative determination of t-PAIC in human plasma. t-PAIC is a complex formed by the binding of tissue plasminogen activator (t-PA), released upon vascular endothelial cell injury, and plasminogen activator inhibitor-1 (PAI-1). Since the concentration of t-PA in blood is only one-fifth that of PAI-1, virtually all t-PA in circulation is bound to PAI-1; therefore, the appearance of t-PAIC can early reflect the occurrence of fibrinolysis inhibition.
As a novel molecular marker reflecting both vascular endothelial injury and fibrinolytic system inhibition, t-PAIC can detect pathophysiological changes in the pre-thrombotic state earlier than conventional coagulation tests, providing clinicians with precise diagnostic and therapeutic guidance.
