Intended Use

Bluing Solution is intended for the bluing of haematoxylin-stained sections following differentiation in haematoxylin and eosin (H&E) staining of paraffin-embedded tissues, cytological specimens, and frozen sections. Specific applications include:

1. Histopathology

Bluing after haematoxylin staining in routine H&E staining

Staining of formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue sections

2. Cytology

Staining of cytological specimens (smears, liquid-based cytology)

Staining of frozen sections

3. Immunohistochemistry (IHC)

Used in conjunction with haematoxylin counterstains to achieve appropriate nuclear counterstaining-

Adjusting the hue of haematoxylin counterstains to blue

4. Specialised Applications
