Intended Use

Eosin Staining Solution is intended for cytoplasmic staining in histological and clinico-cytological investigation of human-origin samples. Specific applications include:

1. Histopathology

H&E staining of formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue sections

H&E staining of frozen tissue sections

Routine staining of surgical resection specimens and biopsy tissues

2. Cytology

Staining of clinico-cytological specimens (urine sediment, sputum, fine needle aspiration biopsy smears, rinses, imprints, effusions, etc.)

Rapid cytoplasmic staining of cytological rush specimens

3. Immunohistochemistry (IHC)

Eosin counterstaining following IHC staining

Use in combination with immunofluorescence staining

4. Cultured Cell Staining

Staining of tissue sections or cultured cells
