Intended Use
The Cyclin D1 antibody is designed as an adjunctive diagnostic tool in pathology, with applications including:
1. Diagnosis and Differentiation of Mantle Cell Lymphoma (MCL)
IHC detection of Cyclin D1 is the most reliable immunohistochemical marker for the diagnosis of mantle cell lymphoma
Distinguishes mantle cell lymphomas (Cyclin D1 positive) from chronic lymphocytic leukaemia/small lymphocytic lymphoma (CLL/SLL) and follicular lymphomas (Cyclin D1 negative)
This distinction is important because mantle cell lymphoma is a more aggressive neoplasm
2. Other B-Cell Lymphomas
Hairy cell leukaemia and plasma cell myeloma may weakly express Cyclin D1
3. Solid Tumours
Invasive breast cancer
Lung carcinoma and gastrointestinal neoplasms
4. Panel Application
Used in tandem with CD5, CD10, and CD23 as the most reliable immunohistochemical marker panel for mantle cell lymphoma。
